Botanicals & Hops
I’ve been working over the last few weeks with Sanction Gin makers Gin Without Borders, creating a new brand identity called Botanicals & Hops.
The client wanted a logo that encompassed the collaboration process, as they work with various companies to create their gins, beers and events. An ampersand was chosen to convey this, along with illustrations of various botanicals and of course hops. The illustrations were created in a vintage Victorian line-art style, each one individually hand-drawn by my (talented!) niece Charlotte Solly. Each one was then scanned, retouched and traced as a vector graphic and arranged around the ampersand.
