A recent infographic project which looked at the levels of Serious Youth Violence in comparison to first time offender rates in the core Cities in England and Wales.

Newcastle was used as a case study as it was perceived to have a different profile to other core cities; with low levels of serious youth violence and relatively high first time entrance rates.

The project was commissioned by the Youth Justice Board and produced by Northumbria University and Newcastle City Council.

Various infographics were designed and illustrated to highlight local and National crime statistics, pathways into and out of crime and violence, as well as data collected from the research conducted by Northumbria University and Newcastle City Council to better understanding of the Offending picture in the City.
